Beautiful photos and tour, Loved it! Thanks for posting....and that Cosmos Cupcakes is Gorgeous : )
What lovely comments Phuong, so kind of you. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it Diane. We are growing those Cosmos this year ... white version, so hoping they do well for us
I love seeing all your pattypans and winter squashes. And so many lovely varieties of apples. I'm not surprised your flowers and vegetables did so well at the show, they are indeed gorgeous.
Lovely harvests - I'm actually quite envious of that haul of squash as, other than the butternut, mine is even smaller.
Every year is different, and this has not been the year of the squash for lots of us has it?
Interesting comment on the achochas. I know someone who really advocates how wonderful they are. Nice to have a 2nd opinion before wasting space on them.
Yes I think if you catch them small they are a strong "green" taste but once the seeds start to get going their shell toughens a bit and they are not so nice. I prefer peppers!!
Cucamelons are off our list too. When we grew them we were unimpressed. We are planning a Wisley trip on October so I hope there will be still something to see.
I am sure there will be plenty to see at Wisley in October... lots of Autumn colour on the trees if it is not been too windy!
Such an artistic display of your berries! I don't think I have ever tried baby pattypans, so it will be interesting to see how they turn out.
There are only so many ways you can show blackberries & raspberries for several weeks!! I'll let you know about the baby pattypans. I hope they come out OK as I am sure we shall get still more
Wow Kathy, such wonderful harvests - especially love the beans (we had a particularly bad bean year...again!). And congratulations on the awards...well done!
Thank you Margaret. Our beans have been an excellent harvest all round this year. Maybe next year'll be better for you? Hope so!
Hi Kathy, lovely to see all of the unusual vegetables you're growing.. i Love to grow tomatoes not the variety you do. This is the first year I haven't grown anything.M ill grow a fefew next year. X
They did taste good though Dave ... tomato ketchup!
Good to hear from you Karen. You can have some of our tomatoes if you like! Glad you like the photos x
Wow, congratulations on all those awards! That's a nice collection of veggies there too, even if the tomatoes were too big for that class.
Thank you... I have passed on your congratulations to the girls!
Congratulations on all your wins.
Thank you for your kind comment, Linda
Oh well done you! That's seriously impressive!!
Allotment champions all round then, Beryl x
Well done both of you and also poppy and pearl.
