Wow, that is one ugly mutant parsnip. Good thing it's not alive with moving legs LOL
I'd be the one running if it was moving, for sure lol!
Those b-sprout plants look like little trees! It's a tough plant for me to grow here, so I don't usually try. Yours look like they are doing quite well. Wishing you a Merry Christmas too!!
They are only about 75cm tall Dave! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
That's a nice variety of winter harvests! I've had leek moth problems in the past and decided to plant my leek seedlings out later, to avoid the moth life cycle.
Thank you Lou! I like your thinking re Leek moth, but here there is a brood starting in September: they seem to have a very long season now!!
That lettuce does look good! I had some 'previously frozen' lettuce today for lunch. I love that mistletoe photo too , though I've never seen it in the wild. It's around here though.
Yes, the lettuce mix has been a great success this year! If you look around at this time in the year you might see balls of mistletoe high in the trees if it grows in your area
Yes they are, aka daikon. These at quite small still but I was impatient to se what was down there!
Moolis? Are those radishes? They do look good.
Thanks Beryl. Never grown them before but was inspired by a free pack of seeds!! Woolly vests all round now though ...
Very impressive moolis! And lovely to have something to pick the moment you are back. I hope the temperature change isn't too much of a shock!
