I am hoping the fermented results in something delicious... I shall let you know!
That is such a wonderful bounty to come home to - gifts from the garden. Your fermented veg look wonderful - fermenting is on my list to try next year. And congratulations on your awards!
Congratulations on the silver and gold! The fermented cauliflowers sounds yummy too. I made a couple of them last year and we really enjoyed eating them.
Thank you Dave, and for the reassurance over the fermented cauliflower. Be interesting to see how it goes
Thanks, Will. We have worked hard this year but with the main focus on growing food to eat and flowers to enjoy so awards are a real bonus

Congratulations on your awards! That is quite an accomplishment.
Dave, you could always try the chill jam with half the amount of chillies which gives a nice warmth ...
The cucumbers do really grow under cover, don't they? Mine take over the summer greenhouse, and it is hard to find them under the foliage. And that Chilli Jam is gorgeous! I'm too wimpy for it though.
Thank you Phuong. We have been fortunate with our harvests again this year, despite the unusual weather, and are grateful for this bounty
I am so amazed and delighted at the colours of your harvest and the photographs are so good too that they make me hungry. Your colourful cherry tomatoes are making me smile and the blackberries too.
Well they do say great minds, Sue ......
Interesting that you have made the same comment about your plums as I did in my reply to your comment on my blog about Tickled Pink and I hadn't' read your blog first!
Thank you for your kind comments Phuong. The plums have been worth waiting for, they are huge!!
Good job on the show, your vegetables and flowers look incredible. And it sure took a long time for your plum tree to start producing, it's great that it finally decided to.
Some of our plot holders here don't make compost as they worry it will attract rats...best not grow beetroot then!!! They really miss out on a great free soil conditioner
I couldn't agree with you more on the value of homemade compost. It is one of our most precious products too. I'm glad the tomato puree is working out for you. I need to make more tomorrow!
